different base types in 1 room

how can I make the base different colors on different walls within the same room?  I want white base on white walls and dark base on dark walls.

room molding polylines duplicated with one with dark color and the other with light color.  Turning off the sections of the corresponding color.

Take a look at the "make room molding polyline".  This will let you convert your room molding into a fully customizable molding polyline.
