cbucks
Sorry new b q' I imported a DWG into chief but scale is off how do I change the scale to reflect the DWG which is 1" = 30'?
TeaTime
You can't set the scale in that manner but the very last step of the import process asks you what scale it was drawn in: in, ft, m, mm, etc. Just have to choose the right one. Usually its an easy deduction, like, everything's 12x too big, so choose in instead of ft.

This KB article may help https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00199/modifying-the-scale-of-an-imported-dwg-dxf.html another way which can get you very close is to measure a known Dimension Line length once imported into Chief and then calculate the "Resize Factor" use as many decimals points as possible in T/R (Pic below) then CAD Block the WHOLE Imported DWG and (T/R) Transform/Replicate > Resize > [ enter resize Factor] , then unblock it and check the dimension again.
