Build Roof not working

Maybe it can't because something is wrong in the model?

For example, if all of your walls were marked as "no room def", you would have no rooms and therefore no roof.  Or maybe your walls are not connected?   Or maybe your rooms are all marked as not having a roof?  Or maybe....

Hi all.  All of the rooms are labeled roof over this room, auto-rebuild roofs is on, each room defines itself when you click inside it. I'm totally baffled.  Using a revised template, maybe it's messed up.

Posting the Plan is always the best idea if possible...... there are just too many variables

Here is the plan, but I think there's something corrupt about permissions...checking into it.

You've Set ALL the upper Floor Walls as HighShed/Gable ..........

Use Edit > Reset Defaults > All Floors > Roof directives (at a minimum)

K-Bird, thanks so much..I'm not sure how that happened as I have never even ventured into that tab under defaults.  I think the file got corrupted when we began a new template, but that's just a guess.  Again, thanks so much!!!!

Are you referring to My pic of the Reset of Defaults above?  That was just a quick way to force every wall back to Chief's Default of a Hip Wall so Auto-build would work.

You should check both your new Template and this plan as someone has set the Default Exterior Walls to have High Shed/ Gable wall as the Roof Default. (see pic)

* I think you may have meant to mark my post as the solution, not your post too.....
