How to properly implement layers to create different plans in layout

Hello,

 

I am looking for some tips & tricks to set up my drawing so I can export it to layout as separate plans (Electrical plan, finish plan, millwork plan, etc.) all within the same layout package.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

I am currently using Premier X13

I think most of this still works the same in X13.

Send to layout using a "Saved Plan View"...

Chiefs out of the box template comes pre-defined with some SPV's.
