Multiple poly line solids of different sizes to show in a materials list or schedule

I have done a drawing where I have created multiple polyline solids of different sizes to represent concrete forms.

Inside and out side corners, panels and fillers. I have nothing in this plan except these items laid out to fit another plan.

I cant for the life of me, figure out how to get them to show up in the materials list or a schedule with a count of each size solid.

Any body have any suggestions?

Convert them to Symbols.  I would use "Exterior Fixture".  Then you can use a Schedule.

In the future you should look at using a "general framing member" for this, it's probably a little quicker to put together and they should report to the material list out of the box.

They already do show up in the material list, but I'm not sure how they are getting the size they report.  In theory, you should be able to customize this to show you a count of each piece but this is not an area I know very well.  Maybe someone else can tell you how to set this up.

 

I don't think there is any way to include 3D solids in a schedule.  You could model them using slabs since it looks like they are all the same shape vertically and you can put slabs into a schedule.  Or, convert them into symbols like Joe suggested.

Thank you for the suggestions. I will try the symbols first. I never thought of using the general framing member, thats a great idea.
