Greg_NY61 Posted February 15, 2015 Share Posted February 15, 2015 Scott and Perry, Yes you can do it that way, and you find allot of that type of construction in your neck of the woods, around here if you encounter something like this in a 2 or more story dwelling without stepped out header, you will need structural window frames or some kind of a structural glass system, they use them all the time in the city or custom homes... It's all about controlling the deflection and a providing a rigid connection at the headers - a structural glazing system isn't always necessary.
