Re-install X15

According to my IT persons,(builders of my computers)  X15 may be causing or X15 has a memory glitch. (i.e. the Blue Wheel of death) happening at any turn, 2D or 3D.    My video drivers (on 2 computers) are up to date and SSA had me try other driver options to no avail.  Still happening. The builders of my computers suggested reinstalling X15. If I were to do this (being I've already moved X14 projects up to X15). Naturally I don't want to loose anything. Libraries, defaults etc,., etc..  Should I attempt a remove and reinstall or just a re-install hoping for a repair option there by saving whatever it is I've already set up. I wright over so to speak.

Both computers are running minimum Intel 13 Gen Core i9 (13900KF) 24 core CPU,  GTX 4070Ti, 12GB or GTX 3090 24 GB EACH with 64GB DDR5 Memory.

BTW, no other Cad programs I run from AutoCAD 2023, Inventor, Pro E, etc.,etc. also all of Adobe Products...no issues. Only CA...

Thanks for any suggestions.

Do you Run Macrium Reflect Full Version by chance?  It is a known incompatibility for me , confirmed by both Chief and Macrium IF a Backup of C:\ Drive is run While Chief is open, Macrium stops Chief writing to Disk, which it does all the time for Undo Plans , AutoSaves, Archive Saves etc, for periods from 3 - 22 mins ( the longest I waited as a test ) .  Took me quite a long time to figure out what was causing the Chief Lockups , but now I know , If needed I pause the Macrium Backup and Chief is instantly working again.

Uninstalling and reinstalling X15 should not cause you to lose any plans or settings that are on your computer.  More information about uninstalling can be found here:

Assuming that this does not solve your problems, I highly recommend this tech support article:

If this does not help you solve your problems, then I would encourage you to contact our tech support team:

Thanks Dermot, I'm running the X15 Beta and wondering if there may be a few updates since installing.  I'll check out the links you supplied.

Thank You again,

Doug

Well apparently the new update took care of the above. Hummm, so far it did. Time will tell. Haven't seen the Blue wheel of Death since.
