RobUSMC
Is there a way to control how the shutter lay on the window. Default shows the shutter to be floating off the face of the window a few inches and i want to move then in to remove the gap or in some cases the shutters are recessed inside the window opening. Is there an option or a way to have the shutter lay flat on the wall or be recessed? Thanks
DBCooper
Check the shutter symbol and see if it has a y-origin offset.
RobUSMC
This is an option in the window dbx so its not a separate symbol that can be opened to adjust the XYZ. I could drop in a shutter symbol and place each one but was trying to not have to do it manually
RobUSMC
In the past I have added more lites to a window and made the mutin width 3". It gives the illusion of a recessed shutter but not exact. See attached
DBCooper
I don't know where you got that shutter symbol since I don't have one in my libraries. Regardless, you can copy it to your user library and use the "open symbol" button to check/adjust the y-offset. You can then use your modified shutter symbol for all of your windows. Basically, you can use this technique with just about any symbol to move them around when needed.
