BryceEngstrom
Pretty sure I posted the rendering on the left here about a year ago I think. I can't for the life of me remember what the trick is go get the shadows of the curtain wall mullions to cast shadows out to the exterior. Some setting somewhere I just can't seem to find. I already tried deleting the glass in the curtain wall, but that didn't seem to do it. Anybody know the trick? Thanks, Bryce
robdyck
All you should need is a light source that is on in that view and shadows toggled on.
BryceEngstrom
This is what happens when I toggle shadows. I remember struggling with this last time. Link to download the model if interested. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tzz3eS0z668mFy9Xa8GTxGDZ_-5N3r0Q/view?usp=share_link Yes, the model is a mess. If we make it into condocs, I am going to rebuild it from the ground up. Been in the schematic phase on and off on this project for like 10 years. robdyck
For Camera 4: turn on the layer for interior lights. Adjust the automatic light count to something high, like 200. Even better, create a light set for that camera and turn on all lights and set them all to cast shadows.
robdyck
Depending on what you need to show, it's a good idea to have a light set for each camera.
MPDesign
Hi Bryce, I took a look and found out there was no light set created for the exterior views. I believe chief automatic lighting mode defaults to 8 lights max, if you create a new light set then as many as you turn on.
BryceEngstrom
Those suggestions did it. Thanks for the help. Bryce
robdyck
The next step would be further adjustments to the light data for various fixtures and added lights.
