Hello,

I will probabably have the same floor finishes in different categories

Bathrooms

Bedrooms

Hallways...

How do I create more than one so I can just click on it and make it have the right finish or assign it automatically based on room definition?

Make copies of your floor material and label each one for the chosen space. You can then choose the

he specific material for each space in you room DBX as usual. These copies will reside in your user library.

Not sure what you're asking exactly, but you can assign the floor finish for individual room types in Defaults>Floors and Rooms>Room Types>Edit [room], and you can create any additional room types you wish.

So there you can assign Tile for example to Bath, Hardwood to Living Room, and Carpet to Bedrooms and whenever you specify that room type, the flooring you assigned will be applied automatically.

Do that for your custom plan template and every new plan you start will have those defaults.
