Renerabbitt
@Electromenlooks like a very solid system. Always things you could upgrade, but you will have a nice experience in Chief with that system.

Wondering, if so, what made your decision. Thanks That's true. I use CA on a Mac Pro and it works very well except real time RT. I have Windows 10 on my Mac via Parallels. I use Windows for QuickBooks and Vegas Pro. Vegas is video editing software. Parallels does not permit Windows to use the Mac video card. Editing 4K video is not an option in the present setup. It worked with HD video but I bought a 4K camcorder last fall. CA will now be able to real time Ray Trace. Vegas will have an excellent video card. QuickBooks will remain in Windows. The present value of the Mac Pro is about $1,700 even though I bought it in 2017. I'll wait and see what to do with it. I still have a MacBook Pro 2019 and an iPhone 12. Being able to open .PDF drawings and invoices using my phone on the job site is something I want to keep. I'm sure it's going to be a learning curve integrating the two but I'll figure it out.
