RJBPILOT
Anyone have this happen? I have an addition and the auto generated floor is putting 3/4" I-joists on top of my 9 1/2" I-joists. The 3/4'' ones are osb material, like they are the floor sheathing but stacked up as I-joists on the I-joist that are supposed to be there... Never had this happen before in 17 years..... Also, when I check floor surfaces, the sheathing doesn't show up.... its like the stacked I-joist ARE the floor surface... but ARE I-joists if you select and open them....crazy and frustrating PITA c/a Parham-Krois Addition.plan
HumbleChief
It's a bit of new feature in Chief that I've been trapped by. Select the subfloor and uncheck framing I-Joist in the dbx shown.
Gawdzira
Check these settings to see if it jumped to Framing and I-Joist for the layer.
Gawdzira
yeah, what Layer said. I spent like 20 minutes scratching my head the other day. The monitor still has a dent where I "scratched" my head.

I think it's new for X13? and a great feature. Also it looks like the setting is floor structure/room specific so maybe check/change the defaults for the entire floor?
