divreig
So love isometric view, not just the view but the ability to dimension them and send to layout. I even called Chief a few year ago to see if it was possible. They said no but I just found the attached Isometric view in the help. I see dimensions in the pic but cant replicate. Every time I get in to the view all the dimension tools are grayed out. Not sure what I am missing.
Chopsaw
That is a bit of a tease if you ask me. You can dimension in layout with the point to point tool but unless your have x12 it will need to be done with the text tool and a mask over the 1:1 scale dimensions. It can be done in the camera view but that is even more complicated and has the same degree of accuracy or rather inaccuracy. I do agree though it is a nice presentation method. glennw
Probably quite a legitimate diagram. Easily done with a Cad Detail From View. Note that the dimension extension lines are not isometric.

I suppose you could send just the dimensions to layout and overlay your camera view.

glennw
Overlaid a 3D screen capture in a cad detail.
