BruceKC
I have a garage door on my house plan, and I placed 3 small windows above the garage door. Now, the plan shows the garage door, but also shows the windows superimposed in plan view, which of course I don't want. Any thoughts on getting them to NOT display in plan view? Thanks. ericepv
If adjusting the draw order view doesn't do what you need, put the window into it's own layer which you can then turn off in the plan view.
BruceKC
I'm not sure what "adjusting the draw order" means. Sorry, new to Chief x12 here. Thanks for the help though.
ericepv
The Draw Order tool appears at the bottom of the screen once you have selected an object After you click on the tool, use these buttons (place your cursor over the tool for a description of it's function) to move the selected item to the front or back of your plan. BruceKC
Hi Eric, the draw order didn't do the trick. Moving them to another layer worked except the entire window unit didn't go to the other layer, only the main part and now I'm not even sure what the pieces on the edge of th window are. And if I find out, not sure how to move the windows to a different layer and then pick what's left and move it as well. Very confusing. Thanks though for your help. I attached plan view. ericepv
Bruce - I believe the two remaining lines you see are the window opening in the wall, I don't know of a way to remove them. Perhaps tech support will have a solution. - Eric

Kiwideziner
Investigate window levels as I remember you can change which levels show with different window levels
