Jr.,

My team and I have over 22 years CAD experience with the past six years with Chief Architect.  We are located in the Washington, DC metro and routinely work with clients in the US and Canada remotely utilizing www.GoToMeeting.com

I personally have over 30 years’ experience in design and construction of new speculative - and custom - homes as well as residential and light commercial renovations.

I’m certain we can help you with your drafting and rendering needs.  Please let me know if you would like to explore the possibilities.

I would like to discuss the possibilities with you and will send you a pm with more information. I have helped many architects, designers, builders, and design/builders all over including Texas.

I would be interested as well.  Not sure what area of Texas you are working in, but I live/work Northeast of Dallas.  I design custom homes for many area builders.  Depending on the amount of work you have, I potentially could help you out.  I have a part time drafter that works for me, but otherwise my throughput is limited by the amount of other designs I am working on.  If you only need occasional updates or renderings, then I can probably assist.  I have been in business since 2007 and roughly complete 40 to 50 custom homes a year, 1,500-7,000 sqft.

      Hi
I see some fabulous renderings on CA facebook..  Are these designs created with CA and then rendered outside CA site.??  My renderings are not bad but some of the ones I see look so realistic.. I'm wondering where they are rendered   If these samples I see are done thru  CA ' rendering feature then I definitely need more practice and instruction.  If there are other sources can anyone tell me the best ones to look into..

      Many Thanks

I have been trying to create more photorealistic renderings with Chief as I don't have the current budget for additional software.
I have been playing with the CPU Ray Trace option and keep coming up with grainy images that seem darker than I'd like.
I have played with the lighting and sunlight and I've pushed the resolution higher and higher every time I try with no luck.
If adjust the contrast of the image it makes it a little brighter, but it still is lacking.
The first image went for 60 passes, the next one was 40 and the 3rd was 50 passes.
I would love some insight and recommendations on fixing the grainy look as well as just creating more realistic images!

      Thank you!
