Delete Plan Link from Layout Template

Morning All,

I created a Layout Template from an existing Layout.  Of course it still tried to reference the original Plan File.

Is there a way to delete this reference of to start make a copy that does not include this reference?

How did you make the new template?  Did you use the create a template feature and allow it to delete existing layout boxes?

Layout files will only reference plan files through the layout boxes.  So you will need to either delete the layout boxes that reference the plan file or relink them to a different plan file.

IS THERE ANYWAY TO UPDATE (RELINK) ALL LAYOUT BOXES AT ONCE TO A NEW PLAN FILE OR TO DELETE AN OLD LINK TO A PLAN FILE? WE USE MULTIPLE STARTING POINT TEMPLATES TO CREATE NEW HOMES AND GARAGES. MOST OF THE TIME, THE LAYOUT REFERENCES THE OLD PLAN INSTEAD OF THE NEW ONE AND YOU NEED TO CHNAGE ALL THE LAYOUT BOXES ONE BY ONE. IS THERE A WAY TO RELINK THEM ALL AT ONCE?

double-click the one you want to change and select new plan.  If the views exist in the new plan they will repopulate.  This includes cameras, cross sections, and cad details.
