Yes, you can make it whatever shape you like.

Is there a way to make the top rail of my deck railing rounded?

I've got a number of Deck Rail videos on my YouTube page.

Option 6 is large enough to provide extra family space in the form of a loft on the 2nd floor. For this house style, we put a balcony over the porch and front door, making this sunny room even more welcoming.

How can I have a full post at the wall? If I uncheck the "half post at wall" option, the post vanishes altogether.

      Thanks.

My deck railings float off the edge of the deck if I change the thickness to 2 1/2" or lower. I need a 1 1/2" thick railing that stays on the deck.

I opened an older project, and there the rails could go down to 2 1/2" before they started floating. Maybe a setting needs to be changed, or maybe that's just how the program works? Let me know.

The pictures attached are of my black main deck at 1 1/2" rail thickness and my test deck at 3" and 2 1/2" rail thickness.

      Thanks.

I am stuck on this one. I have a railing at the top of the stairs that I can't seem to get rid of. When I delete it the stair opening disappears. When i re-add the stair opening the railing across the top comes back.

Video that shows one method of creating a stair railing that meets the end of a stud wall...something we wish Chief had fixed for X11

Experts may have some other solutions...but this works well enough until Chief gives us a stair tool that works...
