andymcg
Good morning, I was hoping someone could help me with some tips on how to place a sconce on cabinetry? I've tried creating a thin wall, but it's screwing up the cabinetry to either side of the unit.
javatom
Place it on the wall behind. Open the dbx for the light and adjust the "distance from wall to the depth of your cabinet.

It's behavior I find annoying but will help with what you want. You can either change the default sconce ahead of time OR once it's placed use replace from library. They're easy enough to move around or up and down. Of course it won't adress what you need to do with wiring but some notes should take care of that.
