PeterQB
I am printing elevation views in technical illustration mode with shadows and my roof, door, and window outline line weights are way too heavy (1/8" scale) It’s better at ¼” only because the view is larger relative to the lines. any ideas on reducing the line wt in this type of view would be super helpful
DRAWZILLA
Use layout line scaling when you send it to the layout. there is a checkbox there in the send to layout DBX..

Kbird1
Certain Objects will use their own Setting I believe, if the check box is marked in 3D View Defaults , I don't use it normally ( So it's unchecked in the image below) so YMMV......
DRAWZILLA
in the print-drawing sheet setup DBX is the "advanced lineweight options " set to 100mm ?
paulchoate
I'm having the same problem. The plan looks great on my computer screen in the layout and plan file. But when I print "Chief Architect Save as PDF" many of the lines are much thicker (on t he screen and on paper). Can't figure it out.
