chief58
Greg thanks for your work on making the cap in sketchup, when I download it and try to bring it into Chief to convert it to a symbol I keep getting an error message, not sure of what I could be doing wrong since I have imported skype items before. My brain could be fried since I just got out of the hospital after being in and out for about 2 months know after receiving a lung transplant just trying to plug away to make a living to pay for the 1,300.00 + medicene a month I have to pay know Thank you
Chopsaw
Ray, Change the file extension to .skp and you should be in business. Hope you are feeling better soon. All the best to you.
Greg_NY61
Hi Ray, here is the symbol with a .skp extension if you didn't change it yet per Chopsaw suggestion. I think I modeled in the newer Sketchup version. Simpson Post Cap.skp

Curious though as it seems that .skb is not compatible with X11. Did Sketchup not announce that in time for chief to respond?

Greg_NY61
Chopsaw, I didn't pay attention to the file format. I'm not sure how .is it was saved in .skb format, but with SketchUp, you can save files up to Sketchup 2003 version P.S I see what happened. .SKB is a backup file was created along with.SKP file. it's exactly the same thing when I adding the file I selected the wrong one.
