Trying to get a 12x24 wall tile to offset in brick like pattern

I have tried everything and watched every video available, but still can't get a 12x24 tile to offset into a brick pattern on a fireplace wall.  Any help is appreciated.  Thank you.

Create a fireplace wall with brick as the outside layer.  Go to an elevation view, create a material region on the wall and set it to "cut finish layer of parent object".

Are you talking about the Pattern for Vector View ?  that's fairly easy but for Standard View you need a nice square on Image with Grout lines to convert to a Material.

 

It maybe possible in the Dal Tile , Cactus Stone or other Tile Manufacturer Library to find one you can work with....
