OnlineBuilder
Has anyone had this? When you change your balustrade on the stairs from timber to wire or posts it goes the wrong way? How do you fix this?
Chopsaw
In X8 you will need to use a manual panel railing that is set to follow stairs. No problem in X10.

This happens when you assign a Railing Panel as a Baluster in a Baluster Type Railing , instead assign the Cable to the Panel in a Panel type Railing and its all good.... This still happens in X10 too if you assign the wrong railing types... M.
OnlineBuilder
I don't have the 'panels' option. Is there another setting that opens this?

See my 3rd pic above , you need to Assign PANELS , not Balusters.... BTW ..........You are in the Defaults DBX ,not the Staircase's DBX M.

This is how to do you own in Older Versions.... https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00082/manually-adding-railings-to-a-staircase.html
