Any help would be appreciated,

I am new to CA and am having problems with this one.

If you could be specific it would be much appreciated

I have only been working with CA for 1 wk.

Thanks

Roofs will cut walls down so you can draw that shed roof along that outside wall then lower it in to position by the roof dbx, just lock the pitch and lessen one of the other measurements, or use the transform replicate dbx to lower the roof. There's a more complicated method but that should get your roof in position.

Here is your building with a shed roof.  I missed the note about the half wall after I deleted it.  You can extend the roof plane to intersect that wall if you like.  Eric pointed out the video about baselines, and that is how I adjusted the elevation of the roof by locking the pitch and editing the baseline to match the baseline of other another nearby hip roof.  If you lock the baseline you can change the pitch and pivot the roof about the top of the exterior first-floor wall.  5b9cd6c3f0926_ShedRoof.thumb.jpg.19bc887b46900e24f2c6544eee2014ab.jpg
