amathews
When I import a file from 9.5 to X6 I get an extra odd looking icon that follows the curser. What is this. Also windows won't snap correctly. How do I turn this off? Also I can't seem to change the back ground color. X6cursor.bmp
DRAWZILLA
It' the behavior indicators symbol, leave it on , it tells you when some tools are on so you can turn it off. without it you would never figure it out why your system is acting badly. DavidJPotter
that particular cursor icon means that somewhere in your current plan there exists a bad wall connection. The bad wall connection should also have a "circle" showing at the bad wall connection. You also get a cursor icon appearing when "Angle Snaps" has been turned off and other basic function conditions. Such indicators are VERY useful and not a bug or something "wrong", it is just a communication from the software to you. DJP
amathews
Thanks Fixed wall connection and it disappeared. Tried changing background color. Doesn't seem to work from a file from 9.5. Works on new plans
DRAWZILLA
What I would do is copy the old plan using edit area copy function ( all floors) and paste it to a new X6 profile plan. You will have to fix up those things that weren't in 9.5 (the new tools). Or it will just change to what defaults you have set for those new items. Then you can change the background color.
