Robboulton
Hi all, does anyone have any suggestions on how to create the attached roof over the first floor window in this typical british REALLY OLD thatched roof house. Thanks in advance... i attach a picture of what I am trying to achieve and the file I have created so far. Existing.plan
Kbird1
Do you know the Thickness of the Thatch? adjust on >>>Roof Surface Structure TAB Do you have a Close Up, square on, Image/pic of the Thatch ? ...... to make a new Material out of....a seamless texture wouolld br best for a large surface like that. Cut the Roof Plane around the Upper Window so the wall will continue up. M.
DavidJPotter
I suppose you could place a thatch type material on the fascia as well (same material on the roof) and get a little closer in appearance. One could also create a molding profile to apply to the fascia to have it emulate the thatched edges as well along with an appropriate material.
