mikes616
I would like to know if it is possible to edit imported pdf files and how to do. Also would like to know if they can be imported to the scale of the drawing or modified to the scale of the drawing and how to do so. I didn't see anything useful on either the training videos or the knowledge base. X9 user. Thanks. Mark
DRAWZILLA
Cannot edit PDF files from within Chief. You might need to re-size the PDF file in Chief to get it to scale and you can do it within Chief.
MarkMc
I usually convert pdfs either to png file (I use BlueBeam PDF Revu for that) or if it was not scanned or otherwise crummy I use PDF2CAD to convert to a DWG. file. Both programs have fully functional trial versions available. DWG can be edited and is easier to scale- I import those to a CAD detail, place on a special layer, block, copy and paste into floor plan. PNG can be scaled, easier than pdf IMO but still trial and error.
