CBRF23
Is there any way to raise a retaining wall so that it extends above the terrain, and add a top cap to the wall? I've got my retaining walls, they follow the grade pretty well, but I can't find the option to control height above grade on the retaining wall. I want to create something like the attached image. Thanks!
Joe_Carrick
Terrain Retaining Walls just don't work very well for this configuration. The best way I know of is to draw it as a Railing Wall then open the dbx and Set it to a Solid Wall Add a Top Rail (maybe a 3x12 "Handrail") Adjust the Railing Height in the Newels/Balusters Tab Click "Foundation Wall" in the Foundation Tab Set the Materials as desired
glennw
Most times I find it easier to use a Terrain Break along with a normal wall or railing. A normal wall or railing is a lot easier to control than a terrain retaining wall.
