NewLeafHomeDesig
What is the best way to "sketch" over a floor plan during a video conference, sharing my screen with a client or consultant? Occasionally it would be handy to be able to do a sketch the way I would use tracing paper during a live meeting. Can you do that directly within Chief? or would it be better to use a pdf and software that allows you to draw over the pdf?
Chopsaw
Yes that can be done if you like. The PDF can be imported directly into Chief and traced over but there are some quality and speed issues currently and that can be improved by converting the PDF to PNG format before importing. There is also software that will convert PDF to Cad ( DWG ) and that will give you some snap points to work with. http://visual-integrity.com/products/pdf2cad/
MarkMc
For online meetings I use zoom.us. Can draw on anything within it. Also have a little applet called zoomit I use for in person meetings. Get that at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/zoomit
NewLeafHomeDesig
Thanks! The zoom.us sounds like a good way to go, and I'll check out zoomit too!
