PLANSAHEAD Posted July 14, 2014 Share Posted July 14, 2014 I am trying to get X-6 running on another laptop and have successfully loaded it and use it but I am repeatedly getting this error message Cannot find or open pattern file: C:\ ........ CHIEFARC.PAT ......as seen in the picture. Is this a critical file? I cannot locate it in my other computer and X- 6 works great. Please let me know,thanks. jcaffee Posted July 14, 2014 Share Posted July 14, 2014 Your pattern file location is defined under Preferences>General>Folders>Shared Patterns Folder. Make sure that connection string and reality are one and the same by searching "*.pat" (without the quotes) via widows search.
