mwilcox
I am new to Chief so I apologize for what could be a silly simple question, but is there a CAD for an Interior Braced Wall? Or is there a way to hatch a wall to make it look different? Thanks, Matt
DavidJames
You can create a new wall type and select a fill pattern of your liking.

johnny
Actually, what I do is use the simple "hatch wall" command and make sure to break your wall where the SW starts and ends. You can find it under "build/walls/hatch wall - or you can do what I do and customize my toolbar so its quick access all the time.
DRAWZILLA
I just use a typical line at 100 line weight so I don't have to break any walls. for the holdowns I just use details and collouts for those. There is nothing in Chief's program that automates this and the materials list is wrong, if you use it.
