houstonhomebuild Posted June 17, 2014 Share Posted June 17, 2014 Hello, I am using the materials list and see that I need approximately 1000 2x6 exterior wall studs. the program only tell me that the type is 2 x 6 but it does not give me the height of the wood. I know that my ceiling heights are 109" approximately 9 feet. will chief calculate my ceiling heights and place that in the materials list for me? Kbird1 Posted June 17, 2014 Share Posted June 17, 2014 Like Lew said the lengths are only there if you choose "Buy" list or "Cut" List otherwise it only gives you a total lineal footage... BTW the BUY list is badly done for eg who buys 12' 8 3/4" 2x6's? nobody... you'd need to buy 14' , last one I did I have 9 entries for 2x6's totalling 29 pcs@ 14' 2x6's that should of been one line...
