RobUSMC
Ive been using chief all day and just came back in the office, opened the same plan I was working in before and when I went to the library I noticed every folder in my user library had a twin?????? Anybody ever seen this? Exact duplicate with same material in each folder. No even sure how to fix it other than delete all the duplicates. Alaskan_Son
I think most commonly that will happen if you click on the user library in your Chief Architect data folder. It tells Chief to load that library.
RobUSMC
I started deleting each of the duplicate folders from the library and it crashed. Always something
RobUSMC
Between sessions there was a full system back up including the data files. Maybe that did something. Never has before.
jcaffee
I hope you rebooted before you started deleting stuff.
RL-inc
Sound similar to an issue I had in X6- lost all user libraries. Fortunately had all backed up with Carbonite. Had to contact tech support to get it all reloaded though. Might try them next- Best of luck.
CAmichael240114
I have had this happen about four times, I always backup (export) the user library after I have added new items to it then delete the doubled up one and import the backup I have contacted Tech support but they didn't know what was wrong or how it happened
RobUSMC
I hadn't rebooted before deleting the duplicates... Didnt know I should have. It made a mess of everything. Fortunately, I have two onsite back ups, DB and Carbonite. Just by completely replacing the data folder with one of the back up all is ok about about 30 mins
