brian-sdesign
I've been working on getting my start up template dialed in. I used it to start a new project today and am getting some unexpected results. Some of my interior walls are showing exterior siding as a surface material. When I open the wall dbx, and look under wall types the materials are set to drywall but the preview shows it as siding as well. Somehow it's getting overridden. Can anyone shed some light on this? MPDesign
post the plan, my guess is your using an exterior wall or your copy was made incorrectly.
brian-sdesign
Okay, I'll post it shortly. I did check that though
brian-sdesign
It's something to do with rooms I believe. In some cases I'll have part of a wall showing siding and part of it drywall where another room starts. The room types were the same though. Very frustrating
MPDesign
Brian, Maybe it is the direction you are drawing your walls? Are you using the same wall selection handle? the small diamond on the end
rlackore
Select the problem rooms, open the Room Specification dbx, and make sure the Materials>Room>Walls is set to use the Default material:
