djhplanning
Does anyone know what is going on with my 3D display? It shows multiple layers when looking in 3D. The patterns also show up blurry. Just doing it on this new drawing I am starting. Existing plans are showing correctly. Don't know where to look. Solution Gawdzira Posted September 8, 2016 Solution Share Posted September 8, 2016 That is Z-Fighting. It is possible this model is way, way away from the origin. Or, your wall layers are too thin.
DavidJPotter
Or your video card just sucks, you might want to update your video card drivers to see if that helps or adjust as Alan said your origin in Camera defaults. If your video hardware is integrated into the mother board then it is a certainty that you need to obtain and install a dedicated video card. djhplanning
my video card should be fine because I can open other drawings I've done and the 3D views display just fine. I will try to investigate the drawing origin suggestion.
djhplanning
Somehow the scale in my template drawing got way out of wack. I ended up fixing by turning on all layers, window, fill window, erasing a terrain perimeter I had set up in my default drawing, and zooming in to a proper scale when drawing the first wall. I think I was drawing my first wall very far away from the terrain perimeter I had set up. Thank you for the suggestions!!!
