so guys, at one time we could open a perspective floor view without seeing the floor below. i don't seem to find this situation now. can someone jog my memory on how to get a single floor only, and not the floors below, or has this been eliminated on upgrades

no jon, that's just plain CA 3D text, with not a lot of size to it. i have a building that has about 70 desk furniture symbol block and other things. the thing here is that we are limited in size to do what we want. our limits need to be upgraded.

yes mark. i have a complex full of desks and things over 23 thousand+ sq m there are lots of symbols. would be good if CA could give us some direction of how to pin point things better

well thanks Mark but my 3D doesn't export at all. is there a way to find out which symbol is giving the problem

hi, had that problem for 6 weeks. lost lots of time and money trying to sort it out. my problem was exporting and saving as. go directly to the support team. they will give you a direction were as to send them some info for them to guide you through a process to take something out of your systems. it not difficult to follow. but i sympathies with you. hope you sort it out soon

yes we should be able to use CA on 2 separate computers under 1 license. this helps CA to sell more software

thanks mick, have tried but with no success CA, no one from your side is getting back to me on this problem of which has been posted in a couple of place including the Online Support Center. i have since re downloaded CA X7 - 3 times and even gone back to the earlier version and i'm still with this problem. with nothing coming from CA. I can open CA X7 but i can not save anything from it, or even back-up entire plan and again, all has started from this last up-grade. now my project is in this up-grade version. 23 thousand meters + and i can get to finishing it. answers please

have tried to save a small couple of walls plan to post, but it just crashes every time when i try saving something. my already recorded video's work. so it doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the codec seems like the problem is in the saving of my CA software, which has only started after the update

i have update my CA X7 to 17.1.2.2 Update, but every time i try to export a picture or try to record my video . 17.1.2.2 Update crashes beware anyone else who updates. i need CA to check out what is the problem with this update, and why this happens, even on a new plan with 4 walls. ​i have re-download the update several times and run the repair, but still have the problem. my last resort is to re-download CA entirely without this update, which is a big job and very inconvenient. any-one got any other suggestion for me?

hi dshall, hope your well. yes there is a reason why i do not want to move the poly-line to the back group as i want that in front of other things. but i have noticed this for some years now with some library objects, we should have a possibility to (move to the front) in the furniture specifications window. have fun mate

hi Joe, there is no move to front view when clicking on the vehicle in plan view to open up the (furniture specification) window it can only be done from an icon tool which moves an object in-front of another, but this doesn't seem to work with these CA library vehicles it has been sometime now that i have noticed this problem

hi guys, why can't i move the library vehicles in front of a filled poly-line? i want the poly-line to stay filled but the move to front of group tool does not move the vehicle in front of the poly-line. is this a software problem?
