Morning Everyone! Here's a stumper I've never encountered before!!
I built my walls as usual, added my windows and door, added my roof using auto build (I'm not really worried about what it actually looks like) and this happened! i went in and messed around with some values, changed the walls, changed the room definition, no budge. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Ah!! I didn't connect the two, I'm in my own world today. Too many weird things going wrong, thought it was something fancy
Thank you again!!

@CharlesVolzThank you so much!!!! I will make some changes to my program tools and replicate your instructions!!
I am just replicating an already built house for a proposal so I'm not terribly worried about tech specs/regulations, but the more you know right? Thanks so much!!!
Curious though, what the diff between a roof and a shed roof??

You can also just turn off "automatic heights" for the stairs and then adjust the top and bottom to be whatever you want.
If you make your fence "no room definition" it will fix your deck railing. Not sure why the fence affects the deck though.
Might want to fix the alignment on the deck rail that joins the invisible deck rail because you have a slight jog.
The JOG is happening because the fence is refusing to act independently. I'll give your suggestion a try and see if that changes things.
Thanks!!!!

@Renerabbitt it seems it's happening on my rocks as well - they won't move from their elevation line. I'm at a loss!

Hi Everyone! I am hoping to get your help here!
I have a weird roof plane issue and can't seem to make things connect. I've played around with the auto build, the manual function etc. and adjusted each value separately, but for some reason, the corners of this little roof will not connect. Everything else is working fine - the lines against the house are great, the pitch is great, but this is off. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Hey everyone, I am at a loss as to what I am doing wrong here and have tried to find the answers in the forum, but can't seem to.
What can I do here to lower these stairs? I need the top tread to attach to the deck and the bottom to be on the ground. May be related but I also can't seem to get the railing to sit ON the deck without it acting as a part of the deck (even though the deck is separate). Any insight is greatly appreoiated!

This is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you! I must've had my settings wrong!
Thank you!

Ok, thank you all for your suggestions and guidance! I truly do appreciate your time!

I made it a symbol when I created it.

That! I found all that but it's the "per foot" piece. I can't seem to find how to change my unit from per PIECE to per FOOT.

Hi Everyone, I've looked but can't seem to find anything - Is there a way to price lumber by the linear foot instead of per piece in the materials list? or is there a formula that I could add in? Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!!

oooh.. so I wasted my time making symbols.. bleh. Ok Thank you Eric! That helps!

Hey everyone! I am hoping to get some expertise here.
I have created a garden box made from multiple 2x4, 1x4 etc. (see image). I've actually stacked the planks on top of each other because I wanted to create an actual count / cost per box etc, so I was detailed.
Because I will be using these boxes on a regular basis, my smart self went and created symbols so I could have them in my library etc. All the different sizes I will be needing. Unfortunately, now when I go to create the materials list - it is reading each box as a SINGLE item in my list rather than breaking it out (8 - 2x4x8, 8 - 2x4x2, 4 - 1x4x4 etc.)
Am I missing something or is this just not a feasible thing?
