  1. I changed my line weight defaults and have been adjusting weights as I go but can't seem to find where/how to adjust the line weight of a multi selection box. Thanks
  2. Thanks, but all the information is intact in a prepared PDF file so the title block can't be dragged off the page.
  3. Thanks Joe, it's a prepared PDF file with title block that I need to replace/cover over and thanks for the reminder about using different Layout templates as that will be used later on.
  4. Thanks Joe, in this case it's a title block that is on each page in the same location. Reordering each item on page 0 seems to be working. thanks
  5. Thanks Robert, I took each element on page 0 and set it to layer 20. Seems to be working.
  6. Easy enough Joe but I'd like to avoid having to do this on each page and have the page 0 masks overlay front/top each PDF on each page in the layout.
  7. I need to mask some information on existing PDF files with an overlay of more relevant information. I can create individual masks for each PDF page but would like to have the default page 0 move to the top/front of each layout page masking the underlying info. Is there a way to do this?
  8. THANK YOU Glenn!! Both the ploy line road and poly line sidewalk AND the ploy line driveway seem to follow the terrain just right!! The only tin missing is the apron the curb which the PL driveway does not seem to cut but I can easily work around that. Thank you again!!
  9. I've never had this problem before but I can't seem to get roads and sidewalk to follow the terrain equally among other problems. DropBox link and video below. THANK YOU https://www.dropbox.com/s/0ah9xv0izjfr6xt/DRIVEWAYS 1.plan?dl=0
  10. Hey Joey, I tried these settings and like them so much better than the default. Thank You
  11. Darned if I don't know what that means. How do you adjust layer line weights P?
  12. How do you all set up this dialog box?
  13. Thanks so much for the replies. I see 2 good ways to accomplish the task would like to change the default size but this will do nicely.
  14. Specifically a GFCI outlet's label to make it more easily read in plan view?
  15. Thanks Tea, Can I assume that's a manually drawn attic wall then reshaped?
  16. Not sure if Chief is capable of such a model? Any help greatly appreciated. https://www.dropbox.com/s/07uig0ulmav4rqx/RAFTER 2.plan?dl=0
  17. ...and Eric (Solver), in a personal message, was kind enough to point me back to a previous thread I started with the same question. DOH!!
  18. Thanks Gene, the slope is very shallow, probably 1/4" - 1/2":12 so plumb rafters are not a problem and I could have sworn there was a way to do this? Thanks Again.
  19. Can't remember how to do it? I've got an as built shallow sloped roof with the exterior walls raked to accommodate the slope with the rafter/joists running parallel to the baseline. Chief wants to run the rafters perpendicular to the baseline by default and I know there's way but can't remember how. THANKS RAFTER 1.plan
  20. I'm simply looking at the tool through different eyes and it seems to me a clipping tool should clip the view according to the clip lines presented in the elevation view. That's all. Is it the wrong way to look at things? Is it working "exactly as intended", as if anyone on this forum could possess such knowledge of that intention? Perhaps, but the question is entirely moot as I now understand the tool and how it works, intended or not, and hopefully your explanation and the information provided in this thread will help someone understand the function just a little bit better.
  21. ...and I think adjusting the template plan will help in the future...
  22. The 'feature' works really well once understood, and once understood, none of that is needed but I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed so will thrash through.....
