From the album: Paradise Rises - Home Styles
Stepping back through the open living space, we see room for a dinette set that flows from the kitchen. This version of the vaulted ceilings illustrates exposed beams under a shed roof.-

Illustrating how the interior could be personalized with bold colors and simple lines, we rendered this kitchen with red cabinets and modern hardware using Chief Architect's Physically Based Rendering (PBR) Technique.-

Off the kitchen, near the back door, is a flex room space. This room could be used as a formal dining space, an extra bedroom, an office, or in this case a media room. Residents can work with the team to design a space that fits their lifestyle best.-

From the album: Paradise Rises - Home Styles
This exterior is our version of a Cali Coastal style. Simple, contemporary, and airy with lots of options for light. A clerestory roof brings brightness to the interior. Post and beam construction on the porch adds some warmth and structural interest. Exposed beams along the roof tie the look together. This exterior could leverage fire-resistant stucco siding, and concrete or metal roofing.- 1 comment

Narrow casement windows bring light and light breezes into the bedrooms space. What isn't shown in this image is a larger egress window on the room's other exterior wall.-

Thank you for the question. Yes, you can install Chief on more than one of your computers. You are limited to launching the software on one computer at a time. You can switch between your computers as frequently as necessary. Here is a tech article that explains how the process works to switch between computers. https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00956/installing-chief-architect-on-multiple-computers.html Kind regards, Derek Pedersen Chief Architect Sales

Adding Raytrace to walkthrough
ChiefArchitect replied to AnotherCADUser's topic in Sales Related Questions
Thank you for the question. Using raytrace rendering for video walkthroughs are not generally practical. Since video requires 15+ frames per second, you would need a minimum of 30 raytrace renderings for just 2 seconds of video. If a raytrace takes 10 minutes (this is a low number) it would take 5 hours or rendering time to create just 2 seconds of video. The good news is that X10 has a new rendering feature called Physically Based Rendering (PBR). This new rendering technique is much closer to the quality of raytrace and it is a realtime rendering technique, so it can be used for creating video walkthroughs. Here is an example video using the PBR with a video walkthrough. Pay special attention starting at :39 seconds into the video and again at 1 minute. This will give you an idea of the quality that is possible. https://www.chiefarchitect.com/videos/watch/10190/accessible-kitchen-bath-project-walkthrough.html Kind regards, Derek Chief Architect Software -
