What does PBR stand for? Getting that from the other post.

Thank you Michael!

Ah! Thank you
-
ok, now I took another picture of the screen and it is diffidently getting better.

I would like to ask, and I think I know the answer to this while I am waiting on the trace, is that, the picture shows up after like 2 or 3 minutes, so I am assuming that it is continuing to trace? I just took a picture of the screen and now while I wait, it does seem to slowly get clearer - but not really sure. Will it tell me when it is done? So far I have moved on and get a message that it is still working. And while I type this and look at the picture, I cannot say it is looking any clearer. Thoughts?

Shared it on google drive - you should have it now

My file is 69Megs - Where can I send it? I will reach out to you on the private message... Thank you

Thank you for the info! This give me some direction

I could wait. I keep adding passes, at 15 now and it still not looking great. I figured I have a lot going on. Question: How many passes is minimal for a nice pic? I will try that first - it is working faster now.
-
Well, now I am adding passes and that is taking a few minutes. I'm at 7 now which looks bad, but the time is not so bad. So I think I'm ok.

The first ray trace I did took a few minutes. I stopped it because I got impatient. But it must of just finished because I have it. But I could not get another one since. Last night I had it run over night and it is still not done. I did a preview and that worked. I did a larger preview and that just worked. I even changed the time to just 1 minute, but that also never stops. Thoughts?

Here is the last remodel I worked on. The couple is making an AirBnB out of their house. Built in the 1800's. I added a bath to each room. It was a 5 bedroom and 1 bath before. I went a little overboard with the décor :) Was a lot of fun

Well, well,well... [ x ] No Special Snapping That worked! I straightened out the roof to be flush on the outside and the roof stayed this time. Went inside and the wall above the ceiling plane is filled in as it should be without a solid. I have learned so many things today from so many of you - thank you!!
-
I will give that a try. I haven't done yet what Steve proposed. I will let this thread know the results. Thank you
-
Thank you Steve! Really great work and advise!
-
Sorry, not quite there. I have sense learned that because I have a different pitch ceiling that the wall will be cut at the roof and not the ceiling, and so I need to add a solid. Thank you for trying!

Thank you! And for the most part, they were on the larger and more complex side... See PDF plans.pdf

Now it has an issue with the outside.

I do have a room divider wall type I made long ago. It was set to 0. After I changed it to 0.01 - it remains a line. I also went into my defaults and updated my default room divider wall type to 0.01 and now I can use my hotkeys and draw a single line. Now time will tell if it sticks or changes because of other situations. Thank you again Mark!!

This works like a charm!!
-
I will

So I looked at my divider wall wall type and it is set to 0 - it is exactly as shown in the image. So, how do you force the wall to remain as a thin line? Edited: So I see that my wall type changes to Interior-4 and turns into invisible. How do I keep the wall type as divider wall?

Hello, I am struggling with another issue that I would think should be simple. But my roof keeps snapping and opening up my interior attic wall... https://www.loom.com/share/4a4ba5b836ce487780445c67626fba8d SND1975 Ron and Katha Petroelje.plan

That is amazing. I have tried to make the room divider 0, but it would not let me. That is best of all. I will mess with that. Thank you Mark!
