with a little bit of messing with roof planes and rafters i think it could be done

my first post was wrong so i deleted it another try at this roof with a lot of guessing so it still maybe wrong   as doc are confusing and not enough info but it might be a help to get it heading in the right direction

Just for a bit more info i  fixed those small triangles in the sidding by turning off Sil plate in the wall foundation tab and adjust the default wall heights in the structure tab

hear is the file with some of those issues fixed i tried yesterday to post the reply but must have missed a step and it never happened

some of your problems skinny sidding at bottom adjust pattern vertical  offset, Eaves hanging below facia check your structure tab of roof plains faica is to small 

i think you must have deleted the attic walls  the software warns you when you do it i put them back

not sure what is causing it but editing the wall in 3d fixes it

Not sure what is wrong but i just deleted the railing wall and copied one from another area and it worked must be setting some where but could not spot it

i put a new door opening  and it worked 

it was there for me just looking at it now

just a thought with out reading this whole thread check to see you don't have your snaps turned off that can play a role in base lines getting messed up

It’s not set wrong in preferences architectural to select room before wall 

i had a play with your file it might be enough to get you going if you need other change i can do it as i have chief x6 install on old laptop as that should be compatible with version 2015 designer

Posabiltys walls not connect at intersection one or all walls checked as no room definition in wall dialog 

Probly need more info like picture of or sample of tile 

those planes popping up are because you dont have the roof edge on the gable  at -135 deg they are something like like -135.311666° select the roof plane edge look at selected line tab

Not sure if you have ssa paid but if  you do watch some videos on roof building you might even find some on youtube
