Doug_Park Posted May 12, 2014 Share Posted May 12, 2014 Ray tracing time is mostly dependent on number of pixels times number of lights. The size of the model is generally a less significant factor so making the model simpler more than likely won't help you as much as you would expect, unless the simplification removes some of the lights.
