Manufacturer specs vs. library items from manufacturer

Anyone know why actual manufacturer specs (Kohler toilets for example) are so inaccurate when pulled from the manufacturer library?

Have you tried pulling a toilet from Kohler website and see if the specs are accurate there if not you can take the specs for that model and make a note on the side of it. Also if size is a concern as display goes, I usually bring the model into Sketchup and use Scale tool to make it the right size and match the specs.

 

If you don't use sketchup, let me know and I will be happy to do the size tweak and you can upload back into your library.
