SCBHomes
I have a building with a very unusual roofline (see picture) and I need to fill the triangular space at the top with a wall and window... but the wall does not go down to the floor. I cannot figure out how to do that-any ideas? I also want to figure out how to make a loft space in the vaulted part of the back of this building, but am having trouble adding a floor and keeping it under this roof-seems like I need to treat it as a finished attic or a cape cod type house, but obviously the roofline is very unusual. Any tips here are appreciated as well. Thanks!
Joe_Carrick
For the floor in the attic, just add a new blank floor and set its height to 1/16". Draw the walls for that area and you should be good to go. If you don't want the roof to change make sure you "Lock" the roof planes before adding the new floor. glennw
I would leave auto build roof on, create another floor for the loft and check "Ignore Top (1st) Floor" in the Build Roof dbx.
