robdack
Okay, I'm sure this is a stupid question and I haven't used chief in quite awhile. So feel free to laugh. So I draw a couple walls and then put in a third, I adjust the length on the third wall and moves the previous walls around. It's super annoying and a real pain because I'm converting a condo drawing from metric to imperial so it comes up with really stupid numbers. I'm sure there's something to lock one end of the wall but I sure cant find it at the moment. Thanks
DavidJPotter
There is no workable way to lock walls. What you do is to learn to control objects as you work using dimensions being careful not to undo what you have done by improperly using moving objects by dimension. It takes some practice and hand-eye coordination but can and is being done. I have seen this complaint for years by newer users and some older users and the solution is to just control what you are doing while you do it. Solution glennw Posted February 21, 2016 Solution Share Posted February 21, 2016 I don't understand what you are saying about the walls moving, but does this setting help? Wall Specification dbx...General panel...Lock: Start, Center or End? If not, can you post a pic or video of the problem.
