pacificstart Posted December 18, 2015 Share Posted December 18, 2015 I am fairly new to CA and I keep running into this issue and I couldn't find a better way of fixing it than start every time from scratch. I have attached a picture showing the issue and the plan. Any idea why this happens and how to fix it? glennw Posted December 19, 2015 Share Posted December 19, 2015 Maybe try and avoid a single layer wall.... ....more specifically, it is probably your Build Platform To Exterior Of Layer setting in the wall definition. pacificstart Posted December 19, 2015 Author Share Posted December 19, 2015 It's not a single layer wall, it's an ICF wall with multiple layers. And the Build Platform To Selected Line stays selected to the exterior layer (siding in this case) no matter what - all other layers have the option grayed out. pacificstart Posted December 19, 2015 Author Share Posted December 19, 2015 Just figured it out actually. Thanks for the tips. There were multiple layers checked as Main layer in the wall definition.
