RobUSMC
I am reusing an old 2011 plan for a new project that has the same exact floor plan and there is an old brick material in it and whenever I render I get the statement that it can not find the pattern or graphic file for that material. I have searched materials for the floors, wall layers, roof and everything I can think of and cannot find where that materials is being used as I don't see it in any of the renderings but it is shown in the plan material list. Is there a way to show what materials are being used where or on what object, surface, etc? Thanks
Richard_Morrison
You can try changing it to hot pink, or something. Should be easier to spot.
glennw
Rob, Try scrolling through Defaults...Materials and see if it is in there. If it is there, it will tell you what objects it is being used on.
RobUSMC
I had to almost do a strip search but I found it. It was a very old wall type that had an obsolete exterior finish. The only reason this happened is due to using a 5 year old plan but it still saved a lot of time. Anyway it would still be nice to be able to look at the plans material list and see everywhere that a particular material is being used.
DBR_Builders
We have the same issue - it would be nice if there was a way to seach for a material to see where it is being used and change / edit / delete it. I have a older plan that I have gone through with a fine tooth comb and still can't find the missing material.
