False Wall To Cover Stairs

Hi

 

I have stairs that intersect a room as follows

 

Can someone point me to a way I can basically cover just the stairs here from the ceiling down to the bottom left edge of the stairs then diagonally up to the top right where the stairs intersect the ceiling above

I use a p-solid 1/2" or 4" thick and apply it in section elevation view or you can use a wall and pull the bottom up. but sometimes you get the framing showing when you don't want it. good luck

I usually use a normal interior wall and shape  it in an elevation view as Perry mentioned ,ie I try to do it as it will be built.

 

--- haven't tried it but just had the thought you maybe able to turn off the auto railings and draw your own railings using the solid option in this case too

Thanks for the replies. Went with the p-solid Perry mentioned which at least makes it look better, but I'd be interested to know how to do the solid railing you mentioned Mick. Any links to examples/tutorials on how this is achieved in CA?
