JLGdesigns
Chief X6 Curved ceiling in a portico is cutting the gable end wall below the ceiling instead of above. see attached screen shot. Why would it do that? How do I fix it? Thanks
DavidJPotter
Go to the "A" (Attic or second floor), locate the auto-generated attic walls that you are complaining of and mark them "invisible" DJP
JLGdesigns
Thanks for the reply. That removed the wall it generated under the ceiling. How do I get it to fill in the gable above the ceiling? Thanks
scottharris
Here's one idea: 1. in the attic, Draw a wall and mark it as an 'Attic Wall' 2. place a doorway in the attic wall; use a broken arch option to match the curve of the ceiling Another option would be to draw a custom shape using a polyline solid in an elevation view
Solution JLGdesigns Posted May 1, 2015 Author Solution Share Posted May 1, 2015 Thanks. The polyline soild does the trick. Just wierd it builds the wall below the ceiling...
