FinalDraft
As the title says, I'm looking for a literal button I can press that will remove everything on the monitor except my camera view and camera commands. I really don't want to reconfigure my set up for client meetings. But when I bring my fancy RTRT on the big screen, all the extra around the image is distracting and destroys my wow factor. If Google maps can do this so can Chief!! I will take any advice on how I can make this as streamlined as possible without changing everything 3 times a week. As a side thing it would be really cool to incorporate the Xbox controller into this setup. Thank you. -Kelsey x17 on Windows 11Pro With beefy computer bits. CarrieS
@FinalDraft That would be a pretty sweet feature. We don't have anything to do that currently. We do however have the ability to map controls to a gamepad/controller. (Tools> Toolbars and Hotkeys> Customize Gamepad) I'll log a feature for hide UI in our database. We can often miss requests in the Q&A forum so if you have other requests it is better to post in the Suggestions discussion so it doesn't get lost.
Rookie65
What happens if you hit the "F11" function key? Often that will put whatever you're looking at into full screen and eliminate the other things.
glennw
Not exactly what you want, but Chief has a command View>Enter Full Screen which puts the Chief window full screen and eliminates the Chief menu bar. If you drag the mouse over the top of the screen, the Chief menu bar will open where you can select View>Exit Full Screen. You could set up a toolbar configuration to only display the 3D tools with one click. Or if you don't want any toolbars, just toggle them off.
