How to add ANGLED ceiling

I tried some of these videos but i still cannot get the ceiling correctly.

There are many variables with a room like this. To get the best answer, post your plan and someone will jump in and give you some guidance.

 

Ideas like: using ceiling planes, ensuring the room definitions are set up properly, etc.

We would like to close this and make it into an office. Here is an image of the floor plan and a chatgpt rendering of what is would sort of look like with doors. 

I am having a hard time getting the slopes of the ceiling.

If you're only drawing that space, and not the entire house structure, I would cheat it with ceiling planes or solids.

If you know either:
A. Sidewall Height and Pitch

-or-

B. Sidewall Height and width of flat ceiling

 

You could make it work pretty easily with what you have drawn.

This is banging it out really quick with solids.

Thats whay we need!! how did you do that?

I just used solids.  Pull an elevation and draw a solid at the correct height and pitch.

Then pull another cross section running perpendicular to your solid and edit the "end" to be angled as well.

Solids are pretty intuitive with these latest versions of Chief.  They used to be a serious life-suck...
